AIO ClicksInternational SEO
International SEO makes the right version of your website appear for searchers in each country and language you sell in. It covers how your site is structured per market, hreflang so Google shows the right language, content written for local search behaviour and the signals that build authority in each country.
Does this sound familiar?
Expanding into a new country starts with being found there. International SEO makes each market a proper home, not a translated copy.
- 01German visitors land on your English pages, or Belgian visitors on your Dutch prices.
- 02You translated your website, but the translated versions barely get any search traffic.
- 03Your language versions compete with each other in Google instead of each winning its own market.
- 04Nobody is sure whether hreflang is set up, or whether it is set up correctly.
- 05You use one domain for everything and wonder whether separate country domains would rank better.
- 06Local competitors outrank you abroad even though your product is better.

What we do
The work covers structure, signals and content, per market.
01
Market structure
A choice between country domains, subdomains or folders, based on your markets, resources and existing authority, then set up consistently.
Translation is not localisation
A Dutch "offerte" and a German "Angebot" are not always searched the same way, and what convinces a buyer in Munich may not convince one in Rotterdam. We localise content, not only words.
hreflang that holds
hreflang breaks easily: missing return links, wrong codes, pages pointing to redirects. We check it across the whole site and set up monitoring so new pages are added correctly.
How it works
Choose the markets
Where you sell, where demand exists and which languages and countries to target first.
Decide the structure
Domains or folders, URL patterns and how languages relate to countries.
Set up the signals
Hreflang, canonical rules, sitemaps and language selection that does not block crawlers.
Localise
Research and content per market, written or reviewed by native speakers.
Build authority and measure
Local links and mentions, and rankings tracked per country.

Expanding into a new country?
Book a call and we look at your markets and how your site is set up for them.
What determines the cost
We do not publish prices. The scope depends on how many markets you enter and how your site is built:
- 01
Number of markets
Each market needs its own research, content and tracking.
- 02
Current structure
Restructuring an existing international setup takes care and redirects.
- 03
Content volume
Localising a large catalogue is a bigger job.
- 04
Native review
Native writing for each language adds to the effort.
- 05
Same language, several countries
Separate versions for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, for example, need extra care.
- 06
Local authority
New markets need more work on local links and mentions.
What you get
- 01A market structure recommendation, and its setup
- 02Validated hreflang across the site, with monitoring
- 03Keyword research per market, in each local language
- 04Localised pages, written or reviewed by native speakers
- 05Rankings and traffic reported per country
Small enough to care. Senior enough to matter.

Do we need a separate domain for each country?
Not necessarily. Country domains send a strong local signal, but folders on one domain share authority and are easier to maintain. The right choice depends on your markets and resources.
Can we use automatic translation?
As a starting point, with review by native speakers. Unreviewed machine translation often misses local terms and reads as foreign, which hurts both rankings and conversions.
What happens if hreflang is wrong?
Google may show the wrong language version, or ignore the annotations. It does not usually cause a penalty, but it costs traffic and conversions.
Which languages do you work in?
English, Dutch and German in-house, and other languages with native partners.
