Search and training work on different timelines
When Claude searches the web, changes to your pages can show in its answers once they have been found. What Claude knows without searching comes from its training data, which only changes with new model versions. We work on both, and report them separately.

Not from its search answers, if Claude-SearchBot and Claude-User may still reach your site. ClaudeBot concerns training. Each can be set separately in robots.txt.
Does Claude always search the web?
No. Web search depends on the user's settings and the question. That is why we test with and without it.
Why focus on Claude if ChatGPT is bigger?
Claude is widely used for professional work, research and analysis. If your buyers are professionals, it is often where their comparisons happen. The work also helps on other platforms.
Can Claude's answers about us be corrected?
