The Client

A volunteer foundation for newcomer students in Enschede

Talent East Academy started in 2023 as a student initiative under Humanitas. Today it is a foundation run by volunteers, many of whom arrived in the Netherlands as newcomers themselves. Every Sunday they give maths and science tutoring and homework support to newcomer students in secondary school, from their home base at the Performance Factory in Enschede. Its programmes: Verbinding via Wiskunde, Nieuwkomers Beweegt and Talent naar Werk.

The Challenge

A template site that could not carry a growing foundation

To grow, the foundation needed more than a page about its mission: students, volunteers and partners each needed their own way in, donors needed a way to give, and the ANBI application needed the documents and structure the Belastingdienst expects a public-benefit organisation to publish.
